About the game
Short description
Clash Yard is a football RPG for iPhone and iPad, set in a world that settles its arguments on the field instead of going to war. Build a team, call every play from a real playbook, and drag to throw or flick to run with one finger. Chapter One holds 100 stages across five areas.
Long description
Football is how this world settles its arguments. When neighbors fall out, when towns fall out, even when countries do, nobody fights a duel or goes to war. They take it to the Clash Yard and settle it there: five on five, with everything at stake except a life.
You start in a small village on the island with a team of your own, no record and no reputation. Before every snap you call the play from a real playbook: the run, the short pass or the deep shot on offense, man or zone on defense. Then one finger does the rest. Drag to throw, flick to run, or steer the runner with an on-screen controller. Blocking, tackling and the scramble resolve on their own, so you don't need to know American or flag football to be pulled straight in.
Between matches you shape the squad. The Fighter is an all-rounder, the Slinger a pocket passer, the Crusher a tackler you come to rely on. Level players up, work the bench when stamina runs out or someone gets hurt, and take optional quests in the larger towns. Since version 1.1, Hyper Skills can swing a game in a single play, and your opponents have them too.
There are no weapons, no blood and no ads, and the game plays offline.
Key features
Real football with one finger
Drag to throw, flick to run, or steer the runner with an on-screen controller. Blocking, tackling and the scramble resolve themselves.
Call every play
Pick from a real playbook of formations and routes: the run, the short pass, the deep shot. On defense, answer with man or zone.
Hyper Skills that turn the game
Every player carries one for offense and one for defense. When an aura lights up at their feet after the snap, the skill fires on its own: Gravity Hands catches any ball thrown near the player, Tornado Spin spins out of the tackle. Opponents have them too.
Build the team you want
Gather the types you like, put each one in the right position and level them up. When stamina runs out or someone gets hurt, work the bench.
A record that keeps
The first match at each stage is recorded for the team and for every player, so you can see who is really carrying the squad.
Plenty to come back for
Replay cleared stages against opponents who will not always bring the same plan, take optional quests in the larger towns, and watch each play again in the huddle right after it happens.
A story with scale
Myths that shape the world. Families, mentors and rivals, tangled together. Every opponent has a reason for standing where they stand.
No weapons. No blood. No ads.
Nobody dies over a difference of opinion, and there is no gacha. The game plays offline, and progress is backed up automatically.
Recent updates
Version 1.2
Released October 18, 2026.
- Two-page layout on iPad. Turn your iPad sideways and Clash Yard opens like a book: the map on one page, the STAGE, TEAM, ITEM and SETTINGS pages on the other. In a match, the field fills one page while the other holds your huddle, the play you called, any Hyper Skill that lights up and your players' stamina. Story scenes open as a double-page spread.
- Map and field position. In the two-page layout the map and the field sit on the right. SETTINGS > GENERAL moves them to the left.
- Conversations. Every conversation now stays on screen as a stack of cards, so you can scroll back and re-read what was said.
- Red cards. Anyone outside your team speaks on a red card, while your side stays gray, so you can tell at a glance who is talking.
Version 1.1
Released October 16, 2026.
- Hyper Skills. Every player now has two, one for offense and one for defense. An aura lights up right after the snap, and the skill fires automatically once the conditions are right. Opponents use them too.
- Run control. Steer the runner with an on-screen controller instead of a flick.
- Stamina. Each player's page on the TEAM screen shows how long until they are fully rested.
- COMPARE. Line up the whole roster by any parameter on the TEAM page.
- Smarter AI quarterbacks. Opponent QBs make better decisions.
- LIBRARY. HOW TO PLAY and the help pages can be read in the GUILD's LIBRARY, or from SETTINGS > Help.
- Map. Flick the map up and down to look around.
